Why join the Northwest Bead
Society?
· Monthly Programs -- Each month (except July and August) we have a speaker
or other fun program where we learn about bead history, beading
techniques, see and touch beads, and enjoy the company of other bead
enthusiasts.
· Reduced fee on workshops -- Occasionally our monthly speaker offers a
workshop while they are in town, and the fee for NWBS members is usually
discounted
· Quarterly Newsletter -- The current newsletters are now only available to
members. Link to Newsletter

· Bead Bazaar -- Members receive advance contracts and first choice to
sign up for tables at the annual Bead Bazaar.
· Holiday Swap & Sell -- Only members are permitted to sell at the
annual December party and swap & sell.
· Support the Bead Community -- Your membership fee goes toward funding
the Bead Society's mission of dissemination of knowledge and information
about beads through grants, community relations, and other means
· .COM Members -- Members who join at the Commercial level receive a
link to their web site and email address on our .COM Members page
· Member Gallery -- Members may submit pictures to have their work
displayed in our online Gallery·

· Opportunity -- There are fun opportunities to get involved with the
bead community. We have committees for Grants, Bazaar, teaching
opportunities with the Seed Bead Group, and
welcome the leadership of those who volunteer or who start new project
groups
· Fun! -- Most of all, being a member is fun. The Bead Society has many
talented and creative members and growing our bead community increases
our exposure to new and different ideas and inspiration!
