March 22, 2026, General Meeting
Come Join us for our monthly General meeting:
Join us for this month’s general meeting. Come prepared with your favorite snack and beverage, and maybe bring some of the pieces that you have been working on for show and tell.
Class: Fancy Fish
Instructor: Jennifer Porter
Supplies:
Needle and thread - Nymo or other.
For the body: Helpful to use either delicas (size 10 even easier) or seed bead somewhat cylinder in shape.
11*s - three colors. Use two colors for body of fish, alternating color each row will make it easier to see where you are in each stitch. The third color is for accents - fins, eyes, and tail fringe.
You can alternatively use 15*s for tail fringe. Two 6*s or other type of bead, for eyes
8*s, or small drops, daggers, or dragon scales for the fringe ends.
Center bead - almond shaped or flat oval. Exact dimension not crucial. For this project, recommend approx. 15-20 mm
Doors open at 10am
General Meeting starts at 11am
Meeting goes until 3:30pm or when we all decided to leave.
